FIND YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY AT THE GRANITE WORKS

Your new home in the Granite Works has a spot in Delano history.

Incorporated in 1876, the town was bustling by the end of the century with a grain elevator, general store, roller skating pavilion and ten saloons.

The prime spot on the Crow River that you’ll call home was once the site of flour mills, saw mills and, most recently, granite mills.

Delano remains proud of its history and close-knit community, including the original 1888 village hall that’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The July 4th festivities earned the town the claim to the oldest and largest such celebration in Minnesota.

When you move into the Granite Works, you’ll find a community continuing to grow while still embracing the small-town charm from years ago.
